Itinerary

Day 1Chullpas of Sillustani

34 kilometers, or around 40 minutes, separate the Sillustani Ceremonial Center from the City of Puno.
Between 14:00 and 14:15, we pick you up from your accommodation in the heart of the city.
The journey lasts for about 3.5 hours, and we leave Puno by land to travel to the region’s north. During this time, we will be able to admire the wonderful engineering and architecture of the era, as evidenced by the chullpa of the lizard, which has a phallic appearance and stands 12 meters tall. Pre-Inca and Inca necropolises are inverted with enormous stone slabs that defy terrestrial gravity, making them the only ones in Peru; enjoy the uplifting spirit of this amazing sacred site, which is surrounded by breathtaking environment, a beautiful landscape, the ethereal Isla de Umayo and Laguna, as well as wildlife (Vicuas, alpacas, and Vizcachas).
When we get back to Puno around 17:30, we take you to your hotel.

If you’re visiting Puno, the Sillustani complex cannot be skipped. This place is different to any archaeological site in Peru.
